My picky eater
About this Cook
I am a health care professional that loves the outdoors and anything athletic pretty much. Reading is my next favorite thing in the world to cooking. Jane Austen is my favorite author. I love taking my daughter and my dog for walks.
My favorite things to cook
DESSERTS!!! I love chocolate so much, I need to host a fan club for it. I like to make many things like, peach cobbler, key lime pie and such. When it comes to the brown, sweet, comfort food called "chocolate" then I am cooking up a storm. It somehow all gets eaten before I get a second bite of it.
My favorite family cooking traditions
At Thanksgiving the women of the family are chosen by the rest as to what to cook. Basically, whatever that person makes the best throughout the year gets to make LOTS of it for Thanksgiving. :-)
My cooking triumphs
FONDANT!!!!! I cannot express this enough. That is one tricky little ball of sugar.
My cooking tragedies
FONDANT!!!!! No longer a tragedy, but still new enough to not forget.

Marinated Tomato Salad
Very good recipe. However, I left out the mushrooms and added vidaila onions instead b/c my family doesn't like them. DELICIOUS! Thanks for sharing.

Boilermaker Tailgate Chili
VERY GOOD!! I have made this a few times and stored in the freezer for a cold night when I don't want to cook. It freezes really well. Thanks for sharing.

Italian Wedding Cookies III
DELICIOUS! They came out well, the only thing I changed up a little was adding 1 tsp of Almond extract in place of 1 tsp Vanilla. Thanks for sharing.
