Original Nestle® Toll House® Chocolate Chip Pan Cookie

AWESOME!! I made these last week and will make again today- Christmas afternoon. I agree w/ reviewer Steph a few les chocolate chips are my preference. So I will make it with 1 cup this time around which is perfect because it leaves enough chips to make another batch for new year's day. Yum!! and so easy.

Pretzel Turtles

Loved it. I spent extra on other holiday foods so decided to just use the stick pretzels I had in the cupboard for son's lunch. I snapped 2 sticks in half. Then placed all 4 pieces side by side in a mini muffin pan and followed directions as listed. The mini muffin pan was perfect for holding the pretzel sticks in place. I saved money, time and they tasted great!!!

Microwave Caramel Popcorn

Homemade Maple Syrup

My husband gave me the "look". He said it was tasty, but I know what that means for him. He did mention it had good flavor, but he prefers the familiarity of the store bought bottle in front of him. So I had to resort to the leftover bottle I had from CB.

Scrambled Eggs Done Right

AWESOME! I thought I was destined to forever make half burnt flat eggs. I was even embarassed to make them when guest stayed over. But oh this morning, I was proud to place fluffy YELLOW eggs on the table. Now I cant wait to make the perfect bacon, egg, and cheese croissant with these fluffy egs. MMMM-MMMM-GOOD!!! BTW- I cooked these with the perfect bacon strips this morning. I placed the strips in a pan w/a lip covered with foil. Its best not to make them overlap. Bake for 6-7 minutes at 425 degrees THEN turn the pan 180* for even baking for another 6-7 minutes. Restaurant balance of crispy and chewy to go with the perfect eggs.

Rich Pasta for the Poor Kitchen

No Offense- BUT DONT LET THE PIC FOOL YOU! The pasta was perfect and re-using the pasta juice helped wonderfully. My husband and son both raved about it and it was so easy to make. I think I will make some tonight to go with the leftover potroast from this forum.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

I marinated the meat in garlic powder and seasoning salt overnight and then followed the recipe with the changes of beef broth for water and I seared the meat first. My husband loved it and said it was very tender. I also added potatos and green beans with 3 hrs left and my family preferred this over the carrots. It was a homerun for a first time roaster.

French Fried Potatoes

My husband loved the flavor. However, I was unable to determine if my oil was hot enough. Therefore, not quite crispy but that is due to my skills and not a reflection on the recipe.

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

My dear husband is a wing man and I was nervous trying these without the ready made stuff in the store from the chain restaurant. In my opinion, this recipe was easier, cheaper and faster than even that homemade version. To my delight my husband loved them. He raved and raved and could not believe how good they were. He liked them better than Hooters and a favorite local pub. He has already started thinking of when he can have me cook them and looks forward to trying them as leftovers cold. What he liked most about them was the extra seasoning. I used seasoning salt, garlic powder,and onion powder to lightly season the chicken before flouring. The other thing he loved was that they were not too wet. I took one reviewers tip and placed them under the broiler after dipping in the sauce to make them crispier and to dry up the sauce somewhat. It worked like a charm. My 4 yr old even raved about how much he loved the plain fried wing. I will forever refridgerate my fried meat before frying. The crunch could be heard across the table. BTW, my hubby gave the wings a 12 on a scale of 1-10.

Ranch Burgers

My family and I loved these burgers. I usually leave the burger making to someone else, but decided to try these with the helpful tips of others. Due to the whole meatloaf taste thing, I omitted the eggs and crackers/breadcrumbs. I did, however, add 1 pkg dry onion soup mix, the ranch dressing mix, a dash or two of worcestershire sauce, minced dry onions, and a bit of Lawry's seasoning salt. Simple. They were a huge hit. Everyone was complmentng me on the burgers that were grilled on our green egg. Guest asked for the recipe and I had to hide the last 2 burgers so my husband would have leftovers the next day and reluctantly gave one up after realizing a guest had not eaten one yet. To the others- as many brats and hot dogs as they could eat. :

Taco Seasoning I

Pineapple Upside-Down Cake V

Very Moist. I accidently purchased the tidbits instead of the crushed pineaple, but it still came out fine. Although I love coconut in German Choc Cake, the coconut did not do much for me in this recipie. And as much as I love pecans, they surprisingly did not add much to the flavor of the cake either.

Baked Spaghetti I

My husband and our company loved this meal. I added the cayenne pepper that another user suggested and it gave the dish the extra kick that made this meal standout from other "spaghetti" dishes. I used the soup as a layer in addition the final topping. I used the chopped vegetables as the recipie called for but also added 3/4 jar of Classico spaghetti sauce(my pan was smaller than 9x13). This also came in handy if the leftovers were too dry. I simply added a bit of sauce to the bottom of the plate and added the spaghetti bake on top, warmed it, and the dish was perfect again.
