About this Cook
Lets see....I have been married to my wonderful husband for two years. We don't have any children YET but we have a dog that we absolutely adore! He's a 80 pound boxer who thinks he's a lap dog!
My favorite things to cook
I absolutely LOVE cooking and baking. I'm always searching for new recipes....I don't eat beef or pork so sometimes it's a challenge to find new ways to cook chicken and seafood. I love to bake something on the weekends. Unfortunately my husband isn't a big sweets person so most of whatever I make goes to waste!
My favorite family cooking traditions
I'm not sure we really have any family cooking traditions beside the fact that my mom makes me a pineapple upside cake every year for my birthday!
My cooking triumphs
Whenever I pull off dinner for a big group I'm happy! We love to entertain but I'm always a nervous wreck beforehand so I feel very accomplished when everything goes off perfectly!
My cooking tragedies
It's usually breakfast! I can cook anything but breakfast. If it's a casserole that I've made beforehand then it's usually great but everything else I burn! Luckily my husband is awesome at making breakfast!!

Manicotti Alla Romana
This dish was definitely 5 stars! Took a while to put together but worth it! Tasted even better the next day. I just added some red pepper flakes for a little heat.

Pumpkin Crunch Cake
Oh this cake was soooo good! I didn't change a thing and it came out great! It took 60 minutes to cook.

Creamy Chicken and Wild Rice Soup
WOW! I just made this soup for my neighbor who just had a baby and I'm a little sad that I'm giving it away and not having it for myself! So good!
