What's to say? Middle aged bald guy with a wife, three kids and more pounds than he needs. Soup. Lots and lots of soup. Chili, too. If it requires me to chop things and cook them in a big pot I probably like to make it. When I was growing up Mom did the everyday cooking, but Dad took over on the weekend and that's when the fancier stuff happened. Even Mom admits that what she knows she learned from Dad. I don't make much of what he made, but he was the inspiration for me in the kitchen. I happen to like my chicken noodle soup. The family seems to like it too, but they all have different favorites. I tried some middle eastern dish involving hamburger and rice on this site and thought it sounded mildly amuzing. Looked forward to it, made it, tasted it and promptly ordered pizza.
