I divided the dough into 2 portions, made some plain and some with chocolate chips scones. Both turned out fine. I used cookies cutter to cut, I think 3/4 inch thick is abit too flat, 1 inch will be better. My fiance said this scone tastes nicer than the one I bought from bakery days ago. He doesn't like too buttery taste, this is just fine. I will bake again, perhaps with sultanas or berries.
