Grilled Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2005
We LOVE this recipe. We've had it twice in the last month. Pork tenderloin is expensive here, but it's well worth the money, plus it lasts us for 2 days. This would be great to serve company.

Awesome Sausage, Apple and Cranberry Stuffing

Reviewed: Dec. 22, 2005
This is soooo good. I made it for Thanksgiving. I was skeptical because of the sausage, but everyone loved it. I accidently bought spicy sausage, but it still turned out great. I prepared it the night before, then baked on Thanksgiving. Moist and yummy!

Charley's Slow Cooker Mexican Style Meat

Reviewed: Oct. 7, 2005
Loved this. I added cumin and used minced garlic. This was VERY hot. I used about 3 oz Tapatio sauce. Part way through cooking I tasted and the heat almost killed me. I took half the liquid out and added water to lessen the heat and it was still pretty hot when it was finished. I shredded, added season salt and about half a cup of juice over top. To the remaining sauce in crock, I took another posters suggestion and added tomato paste, tomatoes anda can of tomato sauce to make enchilada sauce for a future meal. I will add a little splenda to sweeten and freeze, so I have it ready for a busy day. This meat was so good, I was full from "testing" before it ever made it to a tortilla!

Will NOT make again. Came out really mushy. Just can't take the consistency.

To Die For Fettuccini Alfredo

Reviewed: Jun. 17, 2005
OMG!!!!!!! MMMMMM. I changed it a little. I cooked 5 boneless, skinless ckn breasts and cut into small pieces. I cut the cream to 2 pints, but used 1 cube butter. I also added 1 TBSP minced garlic. I used 6 oz romano and 6 oz parmesan instead. I stirred in the ckn when the sauce was about done, added some salt and lots of pepper. This is soooooo good.

Easy Ground Beef Stroganoff

Reviewed: May 23, 2005
I am only giving this a 4 because I tweaked it to our tastes. I added no water, because it seemed like it might be too runny and skipped the salt and reduced the bouillon. I browned the hamburger, onions and 1 heaping TBSP of minced garlic (jar found in produce section) in a fry pan. I added pepper to my taste. (a lot more than called for) I then drained and put in my crock along with 1 lg. can of mushroom soup (instead of mushrooms)and 1 sm. can tomato sauce, (instead of paste) and 4 bouillon cubes. I also added some paprika. I cooked pasta shells and mixed it in with the stuff in the crock after it was finished cooking on low. (meat mix cooked for 3 hrs on low) I would have used egg noodles, but realized I was out. This was GREAT!!!!!!!!! I don't usually like this type of meal, but even I loved it this time. Hubby loves this stuff. I served with grean beans and garlic bread. The mushroom soup made this soooo creamy and yummy. No need for added milk or sour cream.

Grandma's Eggless, Butterless, Milkless Cake

Reviewed: May 4, 2005
LOVED this!!! I was out of soda, so I didn't use any. I added 1 tsp. salt and upped the cocoa to 3/4 cup. I also used 2 heaping tsps. of baking powder. I had no white vinegar and used cider instead. I also added 2 tsp. instant coffee to the water. The batter was not runny at all like another review said. I couldn't resist licking the spoon. Thanks for a GREAT recipe!!! (next time I'll try adding peanut butter chips. mmmmm.)
