I have been married for almost five years now and have an almost six year old little boy and a one year old little boy that I stay at home with during the day. I have my nursing degree but have decided for the time being to focus on family (and that means lots of cooking time :) ) We love southwestern food, mexican, soups and italian. Recently I have been on a quiche kick but that may just be the babys desires. Christmas cookies and halloween cupcakes-not to mention the awsome fun birthday cakes! The first real meal that I cooked was stuffed peppers and I was very intimidated by them. Them came out great however and that gave me the courage to try many other things since then. Peanut pumpkin apple soup. Don't even really know why I thought that this is something that would be good but I kept thinking that if it was as bad as it sounded they would not put it in a cookbook. We ended up throwing the soup out and eating fast food that night.
