Waikiki Meatballs
Easy, but only 4 stars for taste. The sauce was tangy and sweet, but the meatballs were fairly bland. The ginger added a nice dimension but was not enough to save the meatballs from mediocrity.

Fried Plantains
These were so, so good! The rest of my family didn't care too much for them, but that left the whole plate for me! I'll make them again, so easy and delicious!

Pat's Baked Beans
I used dried beans (soaked overnight and cooked about four hours) which ended up a little "al dente", but the flavor of these beans really was the best I have tasted in a while! If you plan on using dried beans, I would start them the night before you plan on serving them. I'll be making these again!
