Applesauce-Oat Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2009
While the muffins I made were quite moist, I felt they were way too bland and had little flavor. Sorry, I wanted so badly to love them, but they just didn't "wow" me.

California Grilled Veggie Sandwich

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2009
Simply delicious! The only change I made was to add mushrooms, because I can't get enough of them, and I used french bread instead of the flat bread as it was what I had on hand. Everyone loved it and there wasn;t even a scrap of leftovers to be seen, all of it was happily gobbled up. I loved this so much I drove over to my parents house the next night and made this same dinner for them since I knew they would love it too, and they did! A total keeper, I will be making this over and over again, thank you!!!

Monkey Peanut Butter Bars

Totally delicious! I made these exactly as written in the recipe up until the end, where I spread my own recipe of peanut butter frosting over the melted and cooled chocolate chip layer. I will be making these again for sure, so good! Thank you for sharing this tasty gem!

Absolutely delicious! I only used half the sugar as another commenter suggested, but may use all of it the next time I make it. Everyone loved this, and I loved how easy it was to make, so tasty! Thank you!!!

Texas Slaw

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2009
Delicious! I didn't have Mexican corn so I lightly sauteed some frozen corn with some chopped green peppers, cooled them and tossed them into the salad. Also, I didn't have coriander so I omitted that, but I had everything else, and we all loved this salad! Next time I may decrease the ranch a little as the salad was a little wetter than I like, but it's just a matter of personal taste, this recipe is a definite keeper! Thank you!

Baked French Fries I

I made these exactly as instructed, but I also sprinkled some grated parmesan cheese over top right before I baked them. My husband and all of my kids gobbled them up, with my teenage son declaring these the best he has ever had! Thanks for the delicious recipe!

Hot Cocoa Mix in a Jar

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2009
After trying several other hot chocolate mix recipes and being disapointed with the end results, I wasn't sure if I wanted to give this one a try. The reviews convinced me though, and I am so glad they did, this is a fabulous mix! I did add a little extra drink mix and powdered, but we just like it a touch sweeter, otherswise this recipe is perfect! Thankyou so much for sharing this recipe, I am already making our 6th batch. It never seems to last very long around here, it's so popular and delicious!

Hot Artichoke Dip

Reviewed: Jan. 1, 2009
SO GOOD!!! I made this exactly as directed, only omitting the green onions because I just don't like them, and it was a hit! Even my children gobbled it up, it was just so incredibly delicious!!! I love how simple it is to throw together, all with stuff I tend to have on hand in my pantry. This was definitely a no-muss-no-fuss-incredible-results kind of recipe. Thank you so much for sharing it, I will be making this many more times to come!

Pretzel Turtles

Reviewed: Dec. 29, 2008
I used Rolo's and regular mini pretzels, topped them with a pecan then threw them in a 300*F oven as directed for 4 minutes, then pressed down on the pecan. Unfortunately I forgot to use parchment paper as directed. Oops! Still amazing anyways, just a pain to get off the cookie sheet once cooled. These were so easy, and look awesome! They taste even better too! Thanks so much for sharing this recipe!!!

Delicious! I made these exactly as directed, without the nuts, and all 7 of my children loved them! Even my husband, who is not much of a frosting fan, went crazy over them and told me I have to make these again. Thanks for a fantastic recipe!

Hearty Meatball Soup II

Reviewed: Dec. 17, 2008
Very good soup! I made the meatballs as directed, doubling it so I would have extra meatballs for another time. I baked them in the oven to minimize the grease in the soup, and they were delicious. For the soup, I used the broth and seasonings as called for, only changing a few of the veggies to suit our preference. I pretty much followed the recipe though, and it was a hit with everyone. Seriously yummy soup and one I will make again. Thank you!

Buttery Rolls

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2008
Goodbye frozen roll dough. Hello Buttery Rolls recipe! This recipe is exactly what I have been looking for, and I am thrilled to have finally found it. I followed the ingredient list exactly, but I used my mixer instead of a bread machine, and still got amazing results. This is an easy, delicious, fluffy dinner roll recipe that makes enough to fill a cookie sheet, no more and no less. Perfection! These taste delicious hot from the oven, and even a day later, just as good. I love this recipe, and I can't thank you enough for sharing it!

Salsa Chicken Rice Casserole

Reviewed: Dec. 12, 2008
Wow! This was so good! I followed the recipe exactly, but since I only had hot salsa, I only used 3/4 cup salsa, and 3/4 cup canned diced tomatoes to cut the heat a bit for my little ones. It paid off as most of them came back begging for seconds and thirds! I also made a second casserole for my friend that just had baby, and she called me the next day to make sure I get a copy of this recipe over to her today, it was a major hit at her house too. Love how simple this is, such a tasty homestyle meal, and on the table in no time ready to eat. Thank you!

Chicken Egg Pie

Reviewed: Sep. 4, 2008
So So Good! I made two for dinner the other night. The first one I made exactly as directed with about 1/4 tsp. salt, and we all LOVED IT! Every single one of my children went for seconds, as did my husband and I. Yum! (my crust browned very fast though, and next time I will leave the foil on for all but the last 10 minutes of cooking time as my oven may run a little too hot.)The second one I made omitting the ham, adding a 10 oz. pkg frozen cut broccoli on top of the bacon, added about 1/2 tsp salt to the egg mixture before pouring it over, then topped with the remaining cheese and baked it as directed. Also very good and just as fast and easy like the original, but really the original was the better of the two. This is now my only quiche recipe, it's so delicious and so easy! I never would have thought to use the crescent roll dough for the crust. Thank you for sharing this gem!!!

Kathy's Delicious Whole Slow Cooker Chicken

Wow, I loved how easy and delicious this was. I was out of a few ingrediants so I had to sub corn syrup for honey, white vinegar for balsamic, and olive oil for sesame oil, but followed the rest of the recipe exactly, and the chicken still turned out beyond delicious, I love it! Thank you!

Cranberry-Pear Tossed Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 30, 2008
Delicious! I followed this recipe to the letter except I used olive oil instead of the canola, and I only used 2 TBSP instead of the 1/3 cup. I loved everything about this salad, but next time I will serve the blue cheese on the side as I have several children that do not care for blue cheese, but loved the salad enough to still eat it, just picking out the unwanted cheese bits. We all agreed this one is a total keeper, and one I will be sure to make again and again. Thank you!
