Nanaimo Bars III

I have made these every Christmas. Growing up on Vancouver Island, they were a mainstay every Christmas. I would recomend cutting the bottom in half. I also doubled the chocolate squares and added a 1/4 cup heavy cream to make them easier to eat. Finally, I cooked the bottom so there was no worries about raw eggs. Enjoy!

Greek Style Potatoes

Very Good! I have been trying to find a recipe for these potatoes ever since I first tried them in the restaurant. This was just as good. I did cut the liquid down and I never covered them at all. Added seasoning salt. A definate "Let's have that again"

Restaurant-Style Buffalo Chicken Wings

I liked it, but the waiting was a drag. I made my own red hot sauce which I have submitted for review. I also used sweet (aka glutenous) rice flour (in your Chinese Food Section) which is very sticky and an gluten free option fpr those with a wheat allergy. Over all good, but the time delay is a hassle.

Eggplant Parmesan II

I have really enjoyed this. I ended up using only two very large egg plants. Over a bed of noodles very nice. And as a meat eatter filling too! My wife could not get into egg plant though so I had to knock back a star.

Milk Tart

I had a friend from S Africa come over so I surprised him and his wife with this treat. He assured me it was very much a S African thing and said the dish was better then one he use to travel over an hour just to get. I suspect he was just being nice, but still - it tasted authentic to him. I used a double boiler which is gentler on the milk. Excellent.

Indian Tandoori Chicken

My wife and I enjoyed this dish. I had to search for a recipie for the spices - which was not hard to find. Overall tasty with a touch of spice. Very nice. Only thing I did was cut the chicken into small sizes (like for a stir fry) which i would not do in the future. try it - its worth the wait.
