I have learned from many good cooks in my family: my mom and dad, my grandpa, both grandmas... so I come by my love of cooking quite honestly. I am a SAHM mom to two preadolescent soccer players/musicians, graduate student, and wife. Our household is very busy so most times weekday meals are quick. We love mexican food and pasta dishes. These are perhaps my favorite things to cook. The only thing I can think of right off the top of my head is chili. We eat a lot of chili and love to try new recipes. A beautiful chocolate cheesecake that had chocolate "leaves" on it. The first porkchops I ever made for my husband... who was so polite that he asked for seconds of the charred pieces of meat!
