I am a dentist. I love to cook just about anything. I love cooking with fresh ingredients and experimenting with spices. I grew up in a family with a varied national backgrounds. My grandma Bonny and the other women of the family used to cook Lefse for every Christmas. My father still has the Saturday morning tradition of making Swedish pancakes. Yum! I like being known as a consistent and good cook. I don't think I have too many tragedies. I do remember one, though. I had marinated some beautiful salmon filets for several hours and planned a nice meal around them. I grilled the fish on the grill on some "dollar store" foil that someone decided to buy instead of my regular Reynolds Heavy Duty foil. The fish looked nice, but it had a very metallic disgusting flavor. We had to throw it out and find something else for dinner.
