I am going to rate this low even though I did make a couple changes that I don't think impacted the outcome negatively. I did saute some onion and one clove of garlic with the meat and also added a touch of cumin and a cup of frozen corn. With that said, I really think this needed more flavor and more heat. Maybe some diced jalapenos. I used jiffy cornbread mix since it was the only one I could find of that size and thought it was way to sweet for our liking.

Absolute Mexican Cornbread

Slow Cooker Mongolian Beef

I used a 2 1/2 lb flank steak so I doubled the sauce, which was probably not necessary since there was so much in the end. I only added half the brown sugar called for and it was still very sweet. I also added a couple of tablespoons of asian chili sauce to give it some heat and saved the green onions until it was almost done. I thought it was excellent! Served with white rice and green beans.

Cilantro-Lime Dressing

we LOVED this dressing. I served it as a side with carne asada tacos. I made it as written, but probably added a bit more cilantro. We served over romaine lettuce with queso fresco crumbles and homemade fried tortilla strips. It may look like dark green pea soup, but it was excellent!

Pesto Pasta with Chicken

Jalapeno Popper Wontons

Roast Beef Horseradish Roll-Ups

I have made these numerous times for parties. I square my tortillas and wrap tightly, refrigerate for at least an hour before cutting into 1 inch slices. Even people who claim to not like the horseradish loved them

Manicotti Alla Romana

These is a very good dish, the filling needs a little seasoning and the white sauce is excellent, I have used that same sauce over other italian dishes.

Brownie Batter + Cupcake = The SECOND BEST Cupcake. Ever

I have made these twice and absolutely love them. I put the brownie mix in my piping bag with a large tip, than filled the cupcake paper up half way with the cake batter. Inserted the tip of my piping bag into each cupcake and squished me out some brownie mix into the middle of each one. Frosted with store bought chocolate frosting, YUM!

Insanely Amazing Jalapeno Cheese Dip

I made this recipe early in the day to take to a get together. I ran out of time and didn't get to pick up the bread bowl so I microwaved the ingredients at my destination and served hot in my mini fondou pot along side of sliced sourdough baquettes. Everyone thought it was excellent, I even got some "I like this better than that other one your bring" comments.

Hot Bean Dip

this recipe was excellent. I did not add the hot sauce, green onion, or parsley, but did add one can of rotel. I just stired the cheeses in and served in the crockpot to keep it hot. Great party dip!

BBQ Bacon Ranch Dip

Excellent dip, made it for a bbq and it was completely gone, used a homemade bbq sauce from AR, and green onions instead of green peppers (family issues). Thanks Gina!

Sweet, Sticky and Spicy Chicken

I thought this was really good, I only used one T of the hot sauce and was happy I did, it was pretty spicy with just that. We served over rice.

Sausage Crescent Rolls

These were actually excellent! I had some filling left over so just rolled some up in a regular croissant, I think I will do them this way from now on. I also added carmelized onion, which I think enhanced the flavor.

Firehouse Jalapenos

these were ok to me. It was, I think just to much flavors going on at one time. I think I will stick to eating my bacon wrapped smokies and jalapeno poppers seperately.
