Thank the heavens you listed this recipe! I've made this dish for years after having seen Marcia Adams make it on her PBS show but lost my copy. I've always liked how tender the sauerkraut makes the chicken and have never had anyone say they didn't like it. I recommend it to anyone who is looking for something different to do with their chicken. Thanks again for listing this!

Made this cake tonight and found that it is extremely moist and very chocolatey. I too found that the taste of alcohol from the Kahula was a little much. Next time I will try either strong coffee or maybe instant espresso powder reconstituted. I topped it with a cup of powdered sugar mixed with a little coffee as a glaze.

I found this recipe to be extremely bland for some reason. There also seemed to be quite a bit more cabbage than meat. I was hoping for something that tasted more like actual cabbage rolls, but this only tasted like shredded cabbage with tomato sauce.
