Dirt Cake I
I didnt follow this recipe very closely so I cant review it but I would like to pass on some tips. Freezing the cookies first makes grinding them very easy. I think the purpose of the butter and sugar is to cut the cream cheese into a consistency that will mix with the pudding otherwise it would be lumpy. I used a mixer to beat in a heaping spoon of whipped topping at a time. That mixed with the pudding fairly well with few lumps. I just couldn't bring myself to add more fat and sugar to this.

Fast and Delicious Black Bean Soup
A must have basic recipe. It can be adjusted based on what happens to be in your cupboard at the time, and tastes fantastic anyway. It is easily converted to a vegetarian dish, and a penny pincher side dish on Mexican night using frozen stew vegetables, dried seasonings and bullion cubes.

Soda Cracker Candy
I also used the cup of butter and cup of brown sugar. I also leave out the nuts. With this recipe butter is a must. Margarine if you absolutely can't but, never tub margarine. It contains water and ruins just about everything you cook with it.
