I love to cook, bake, try new recipes and invent recipes!! I have a great interest in bread and bread baking. Also love photography and learning about all sorts of things.. and LOVE animals!
My favorite things to cook
Iraqi, middle eastern, German, Indian/Pakistani, asian and any new dishes I learn. I enjoy multicultural food and will eat or try just about anything!
My favorite family cooking traditions
We cook together, old and new, invest and switch up recipes. At the holidays we bake a variety of cookies and pass a plate out to relatives.
My cooking triumphs
A soup stew I invented and called Di choy, it's a healthy veggie soup that has almost everything in it and can be altered slightly for different flavours, the goal was to make a good soup without tomato and those acidic veggies that harmed my diet and surprisingly everyone LOVED Di Choy!
My cooking tragedies
Forgetting things on the stove, burning pots, making too much of certain things like the time i made too much macaroni when i was about 13 years old Everyone laughs about how I should be either cooking for the army or large scale events because that's just how I cook, on a HUGE scale!
