very nice. im from australia and i know what pikelets should taste like and this is it. it was easy to make, and the results were fantastic! i made mine very thick and it still came out fantastic and fluffy. i served it with jan and good butter and everyone was impressed!

the cake turned out to be pretty dense. i used a can of drained strawberries instead and this increased the baking time by about 10-15 mins. i also cut down the sugar to 1 and 1/3 cup instead and i found that the cake was still sufficiently sweet. i expected the cake to be more flavoursome, but overall still a pretty good tasting cake to have with some raspberry ripple ice cream on the side

what an exceptional recipe! it tasted wonderful and i couldnt help going for seconds even though i was already full to the max!
