Chicken Thigh and Dumpling Stew
Fantastic dinner. My kids loved it! Only things I did differently was after cooking the bacon, I drained off most of the grease and browned my chicken in that instead of breaking out the butter. Also, I had no Paprika in the house, so that was omitted as a result. Great balance of taste and texture. Very flavorful and filling! Perfect 'Comfort Food' for a chilly night.

Squash Braid
I finally made this bread tonight with dinner. It was wonderful. Great smell and fantastic taste and texture. I followed the recipe exactly. I would not change a thing. For those who said it was 'tasteless', perhaps you don't realize that squash (I used Butternut Squash) has a very delicate taste. It is not bold, nor is this bread. The butternut flavor came through without question. This is not a sweet bread (as in dessert), so don't let the little bit of Brown Sugar scare you. It's a fantastic treat for the palate and is hearty enough to go great with dinner.

Simple Country Ribs
Realized at the last minute we had no gas left in the grill, so they went into the oven after a half hour on the stove simmering in the sauce. They stayed in the oven for about 30 minutes and fell off the bones. My family devoured them! One of my boys even suggested that I share this recipe with his 'favorite' restaurant in town so other people could eat ribs this good! Now that was a compliment!! My only mistake was not making more ribs.
