Creamy Summer Crab Dip

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2009
I only gave 4 stars because my family found it had too much green onion. 2nd time I made it I read some review cut back green onion to 1/2 cup and added celery and red pepper to make up other 1/2 cup, some shreaded motz. cheese and 1/2 tsp horse radish. It was great. Thanks for the wonderful recipe and the great reviews.

Grecian Pork Tenderloin

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2009
I cut my pork tenderloin into 1 to 2 inch steak and only used 1/2 the marinade. Grilled them on the barbecue. They were so tender and juicy. Just the right amount of seasoning. It was fantastic. Used the left overs for Greek pita's. They were as good as any I have had in Greek restaurants.

Hot Fudge Ice Cream Bar Dessert

Reviewed: Apr. 27, 2009
I made no changes and followed the instructions exactly. I know that some people had a hard time with the chocolate/peanut butter sauce. i just used a large spoon and spooned it over the whipped topping. I didn't try and spread it evenly. I worked perfectly. I will make this again and again. Thanks for the easy recipe.

Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2009
The best banana bread I have made in years. I did use 2 1/2 cup mashed banana (it was all my over ripe banana's). I did read other review's and must agree, use your hand mixer to cream butter and sugar and when adding eggs. That is all. Use a wooden spoon to mix the rest of ingredients just until mixed. Do not over mix. Cooked mine on a cookie sheet on the middle rack. Really watched after 1 hour because I didn't want to over cook or burn. Make sure it is good and cool before you cut or it will fall apart on you. I know it is hard, but well worth the wait.

Quick and Easy Alfredo Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 12, 2008
Very good recipe and easy too. Only used 1/2 cream cheese and used parm. cheese to taste (I like mine strong) it wouldn't thicken up for me so I just poured it into my Penne that I only drained (did not rinse) It turned out perfect. Thickened nicely and really coated the pasta well. I will use this recipe again and again. Thanks.

Amish Macaroni Salad

Reviewed: Apr. 11, 2008
I cut back on the sugar as many reviews said, used Helmans light mayo and some sour cream as the base and cider vinegar ( thats all I had). Best macaroni salad, and even better the next day. It did get a bit dry over night so I just added a bit more mayo. This is our new family favorite. Update. Used Miracle Whip the second time. Way too sweet even with cutting the sugar down to 1/4 cup. No one in the family would eat it.

Deviled Eggs

I read the other reviews and used no salt, only half the sugar and vinegar and I added 1/2 tsp horseradish. Fantastic. Thanks for the recipe and for all the tips from the reviews I have the best recipe for deviled eggs.

Old Fashioned Macaroni Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 2, 2007
Fantastic! I only rated it a 4 because I took the advice of others and cut down on the garlic and mustard, added paprika, and used some dill pickle relish (since I had no pickles to use juice). The pickle relish really added the missing zip to this salad.

I read all the reviews and decided to give this a try, added 1/4 cup extra whole wheat flour because of the moisture issue. It turned out great!!! I used the FF cream cheese icing recipe, wow you wouldn't know this was a low fat recipe. It's a keeper

Down Home Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Apr. 25, 2005
Turned out perfect. The best macaroni and cheese recipe that I have tried by far. I did add a tsp of chicken soup base and a good pinch of cayenne pepper to the milk before I added the cheese. I gave it just a bit of a kicked up bite. Will make this again and again.

This recipe was the bomb. My husband and kids loved it. I didn't use any lemon juice, its not a favorite of ours, used vanilla instead and topped it with raspberries instead. And it does taste better the next day.
