This looked and smelled wonderful, but the flavour wasn't what I had anticipated. I wasn't able to find the fontina cheese, so made use of a mozza blend of cheeses. Perhaps that made a difference. I felt it needed some va-voom.

Chicken Savoy

Gosh, this one just didn't work for me. We were not even close to a nice crispy crust. Just chicken stewing in an oily vinegary broth. I do not know where I went wrong, but I must have taken a left at Albuquerque. Won't try again despite such glowing rewviews from others

Easy Indian Butter Chicken

This was awesome. Fattening, but awesome none the less. Could not find the garam masala, so used a table spoon of curry powder instead. Also, added as previously recommeneded, a tsp of sugar.

Slow Cooker Pot Roast

I didn't have time to prepare the roast with the flour steps, but threw all into the pot, added a few potatoes and dashed off to work. It smelled wonderful when I got home. I thickened the gravy with the flour at this point. What incredible flavour. I was very happy and will definitely make again. The potatoes were an odd brown colour after soaking in the sauce all day. My kids thought I was sneaking in a new vegetable :-) But they devoured the meal. Thanks keylimeone

No-Fuss Meat Loaf

It is indeed very easy to make, and tasted well enough for the time invested, but it was so very bland. I think perhaps sauteed onions and some garlic may have helped. Salt and pepper? I did end up making some gravy to add to the taste. But, after all is said and done, it was a huge hit with the kids and they went back for seconds . . . . So, I imagine I will indeed try making it again.

Beef Tenderloin in Creamy Porcini Sauce

This was very, very tasty. It was the first time I had used dried porcini mushrooms, and I am now a big fan of them. At the end, I did thicken the gravy with a bit of flour. I think next time I will skip the roasted potatoes in exchange for garlic mashed potatoes. And I like the idea of adding a tbsp or 2 of bordeaux to the gravy. I think that would take it over the top.

Delicious Ham and Potato Soup

The men in my family loved it. I did too. It's wonderfully tasty base made me think about all sorts of ways I will use it. To this specific recipe, I would add 1/2 a cup of corn, or peas next time. Thanks for sharing, it's a keeper

I thought this recipe sounded fresh and tasty, but the ingredients added little if any taste. Perhaps if marinated overnight? I may try that as I was a fan of the ingredient list.
