Refried Beans Without the Refry
These are wonderful! I have made them several times now and my whole family (even my toddler) loves them. I double the recipe with a 2 lb. bag of pintos and freeze them in containers so I always have them on hand. I chop the garlic, jalapeno and onion in the food processor and I use less salt. Delicious!

Blueberry Buckle
I made the recipe *as written* except that I had to use frozen blueberries and bake it longer...until the toothpick comes out clean. It rose beautifully, had a nice texture, and was a hit with my moms' group. Thanks!

Cola Pot Roast I
This was surprisingly delicious!! I used Diet Rite Cola (sweetened with Splenda) and spaghetti sauce because that's what I had. I added carrots, onions and potatoes to the pot after browning, and cooked it in the oven while we were at church. The vegetables were the best part! My husband loves my regular roast recipe, but he said that I can make this one again...and that's saying something! Thanks!
