Banana Banana Bread

A very good banana bread, next time I will most definitely add walnuts or pecans...at least some sort of nut. It's super-easy too which always rates high in my book!!

Slow Cooker Chicken Taco Soup

I tasted this and I have to admit, it was very good. I'm not a huge fan of Mexican food but my very picky clients LOVED it!! They even asked me to make more. So, if you're truly a Mexican food fan, then this is definitely one you must have.

It's Chili by George!!

This was good but I can't say it differed much from buying the pre-made chili seasoning in the store. You could do that and save yourself a lot of time. Sorry, George but this just wasn't the knock your socks off chili I was looking for.

Downeast Maine Pumpkin Bread

I can't say enough about this recipe. It's hands down the best pumpkin bread I've ever eaten. A friend of mine who swore she hates pumpkin bread tried it and ended up eating three pieces. The little boy I nanny for eats nothing but pasta but ate two pieces of this bread. It's so moist and just downright good.

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

YUM!! I did as others suggested and mixed the apples with half the caramel mixture and then poured the rest through the crust. I also added a bit of cinnamon. It was so good. My relatives are still talking about it!!

Smoky Mountain Chipotle Chicken

Delish, but I must confess. I misread the recipe and added 1 tablespoon of the adobo sauce. It tasted great though. I made this twice in a row and still just could not get enough of it. The first time I made it without the cheese and bacon, the second time with it. It's much better with cheese and bacon!!

OMG, Yummy!! This is phenomenal. I did as someone else suggested and chopped up the shrimp so it was easier to handle. Other than that, I followed the recipe exactly.

BLT Pasta Salad

Can I just say YUM!! I used elbow macaroni because that's all I had and added a little fresh dill but other than that followed the recipe exactly. It was delish. In fact, I couldn't stop eating it as I was mixing it up. I also added some cucumber because well, cucumber makes everything better!!

Tiramisu Layer Cake

Oh wow!! I haven't tasted the cake yet but it smells delicious and the frosting was incredible. It was so light and creamy. To the poster who asked why she ended up with a watery mess: I think it's because you didn't beat it fast enough or long enough. Make sure you use the beater shaped attachment. I did as others suggested and doubled the kahlua and only made a two layer cake. The recipe really is a lot easier than it looks. Like someone else said, it really comes together fast!!

Hamburger Vegetable Soup

I made this last week for my husband and grandmother and both couldn't stop raving about it. I did use canned vegetables instead of frozen and I added some cabbage. A keeper for sure.

Brown Sugar Smokies

These are delicious!! I admit, I was a little skeptical about wrapping bacon around the little smokies but it really does work. They are even better after they sit for a bit and the glaze gets crunchy. Yum!!

Butt Stompin' Barbeque Sauce

Thank you, TimSue. This is the best barbecue sauce ever. It tastes just like the Buckeye Barbecue sauce from Quaker Steak and Lube. I followed the directions as best I could. I couldn't find any habenero peppers so I just used habenero sauce. As one reviewer suggested, I added some liquid smoke and instead of crushed pineapple and pineapple juice, used pineapple sauce!! I also did add a lot more hot sauce simply b/c I wanted a really hot sauce.

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

This was awesome. I followed the recipe exactly as stated and it turned out great. The roast seemed to get even more tender as it sat in the fridge for leftovers. I can't wait to make this again. I have to edit this, at first it was really good, then all of a sudden, lately it's been turning out super-salty. I haven't changed anything so I'm not sure why this is. I'm not sure I'll be making this anymore.
