About this Cook
I am 30, an artist, wife, and mother. I enjoy throwing parties...I love anything creative.
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake. Simple is good. It's hard to cook for my husband and daughter because they aren't open for new things. I love to cook lasagna, breakfast, and to try anything new.
My favorite family cooking traditions
I've started a few with my daughter. We love to bake and cook together. She is a great little helper. I love that she is getting to be more brave at age 7 to try new things even salad and veggies.
My cooking triumphs
I am not a great cook but I worked from age 16-20 cooking at a nursing home for over 100 people, residents and staff. I've always been proud of that, they said I was good. I have made new dishes and my family loved them and tried them to begin with is a triumph for me.
My cooking tragedies
Making the same stuff over and over again.

Sweet Potato Casserole II
I made this recipe as is, besides using one large can of yams. So easy and so yummy!

Giant Chocolate Chip Cookie
Yummy! I actually took this recipe and added it on top of a brownie mix. To make a cookie brownie. It took about an hour to bake but it was soooo good!

Sugar Cookie Frosting
Fast, easy, and delicious. We decided to make holiday cookies this weekend. And we didn't have any frosting. Found this, had the simple ingrediants, made it. So yummy too, perfect for cutout sugar cookies. Sets up quickly. We made red and green. Fun activity for the kids to do too, make sure you have lots of sprinkles!
