A Canadian living in exile!! I live in the UK now but for many years I lived in Zimbabwe Africa. Married for 31 years with 2 sons I love to cook dishes from around the world and also to find exciting new ideas for vegetable dishes and salads. Every birthday my sons choose the menu for supper and although they don't live at home anymore they still come home for Mom to cook their favourite things!! That was the day my Mom told me that I cook better than she does!! I was newly married and decided to impress my husband with homemade bread rolls. I used active cake yeast but this was Africa and who knows how long it had sat around??!! Well the breadrolls made better bricks than food and my husband has never let me forget it!! I said that it was so long ago that he should forget and he said I made so few mistakes in the kitchen he had to have one to laugh about!!
