Great - easy recipe that my family and friends love! Easy way to make a tasty portion controlled treat. The longer the chocolate wafer cookies stay in the freezer - the softer they become, almost like traditional ice cream sandwiches. Also - I made this again with chewy chocolate chip cookies - the opposite holds true for the "chewy" store bought cookies - they get harder the longer they are in the freezer - beware!

Delicious! This will be one of my go-to soup recipes now. I did have a hard time finding the red lentils (had to go to an ethnic store since they were not available in my chain grocery store) - but it was well worth it. Thanks for a delicious, easy recipe.

Great recipe! Just made this last night and it was a big hit. They are really tasty and very cute - lots of room to change the topping to whatever you like. We just used whipped cream on top since that's all we had. I did have a little problem with the paper cups sticking to the bottom of the pan after chilling and tear slightly when I removed them. Next time I will try using the foil cups instead and/or loosening them prior to chilling. Can't wait to make this again for the holidays.
