I'm a 44 year old mother of 4, grandmother of 1. I've been married to my true love for the last 13 years and my life is so wonderful. I love to draw, paint, camp, read, garden, crochet, and cook! I love to cook Italian, Asian, Southern, and Mexican foods. Trying new recipes out on my family is so much fun and they are good sports about it. When the kids were little, all they would eat was spaghetti or tacos. That got old quick! My tradional food is what the kids call "hick food"; southern stuff. My husband was raised in San Francisco, but I have turned him into a southern boy! My chicken and dumplings are awesome, if I say so myself. Homemade and simmer for hours. Dee-lish! Once I tried to make a Czech pastry called a kolache. They turned out like bricks and I even dreamed I paved my driveway with them. What a nightmare!
