Well, I'm married and have one daughter. I have lived in Colorado since I was seven years old and feel that I am a native. My family and I have lived in Lakewood for about twelve years now and our house in nestled close to the foothills. We have two dogs and they love to hang out in the kitchen when I cook especially our younger dog Sam. I love to write stories in my spare time along with all of my other hobbie interests. I LOVE to cook and I LOVE to bake! I am always in the mood to bake yummy things of all kinds! Every November I take up residence in my kitchen and bake dozens and dozens of cookies for my husbands company Christmas party. My Mother and Grandmother have handed down their wonderful candy recipes and since I am the one who loves to cook I keep on with the traditions by making them for my siblings and family at holiday times. When my cookies and desserts turn out perfect in color, texture and taste I am a happy camper! In high school I took a home economics class and we learned how to decorate cakes. Our assignment: to make and decorate a cake for our overall grade on the unit. I forgot the recipe at school to make the frosting and I made up my own. Needless to say, I ended up hours later, calling my friends to get some help! I had such soggy roses and after three cakes later I had it done! I did get an A but I learned my lesson!
