Asiago Sun-Dried Tomato Pasta

This was fantastic. Scaled the recipe to 3 servings... should have left it at 6 so that I could have more leftovers!! Absolutely gourmet restaurant quality.

Puttanesca I

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2005
Yummm... puttanesca can get overpowering at times but this recipe managed to produce a wonderfully strong flavor without becoming overwhelming. I agree with all the previous reviewers that cutting the olive oil down to 2T was the way to go. Also, I couldn't find good fresh tomatoes so a can of diced worked just fine. Will definitely make again!

Pasta Siciliano

Mmmm... this has an intense flavor that was really delicious. I splurged on the gourmet olives from the supermarket olive bar, which I will do again the next time I make this - which will definitely be soon!

To Die For Blueberry Muffins

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2005
Wow - this one blew everyone away! My husband, who is seriously picky, at first didn't believe I made these myself, then declared that they are hands down the best thing either of us has ever made from scratch (which is saying a lot). The only change I made was to add a splash of vanilla to the batter. Excellent!

Beef Pot Pie I

Reviewed: Sep. 20, 2005
This is really very good - with a flavor that's suprisingly complex for a pot pie. I was looking for a way to use up some leftover steak and this definitely fit the bill. I took the advice of the previous reviewers and added about half a can of beef broth with the wine, then thickened the liquid with cornstarch right before baking. Will definitely make this one again!

Pakistani Potato Chicken

I (of course) didn't read the reviews before I made this... and it was....mmm... bland at best. I like spicy, and I always increase the spices... it still didn't get it. oh well.

Yogurt Parfait

Reviewed: Aug. 4, 2005
I had a parfait like this at a hotel once and have made them at home ever since. Try a mix of blackberries, raspberries, and blueberries on the bottom, a cup of plain lowfat yogurt, a handful of golden raisins, and top with granola. A great way to start the day!
