I just celebrated my 40th wedding anniversary, happily married to a wonderful guy. We are blessed with 3 children and 8 grandchildren.

Everything really! That's why I love Allrecipes. One of my favorite pastimes is just browsing through all the great recipes and reading the reviews which help me to "tweak" the recipe when needed.
My favorite family cooking traditions
A sausage and egg casserole on Christmas morning. When our children were young, we'd all sit and open gifts for hours (really!) and enjoy the casserole with some O.J. and sweets. Happy memories!
My cooking triumphs
Learning to make special sauces to complement chicken and seafood and my favorite: Irish Whiskey cream sauce to go with Corned Beef and Cabbage...yum!
My cooking tragedies
Making very lumpy gravy when I was a young newlywed. I used to have to strain the gravy before serving it...LOL! I'm an expert now at gravies and sauces!
