I learned to cook by watching my mom who never used a recipe. I always enjoyed her meat and potatoes meals. Now that my kids are out of the house I enjoy taking the common meals and taking them up a few notches. I am currently being treated for Lung Cancer and love the extra time to cook meals for my wife. I love cooking complete meals that taste great I love cooking Thanksgiving Dinner and coming here to Allrecipes to make improvements on my own dishes. I never use one recipe, but I steal ideas from several dishes that are similar. This has helped to make these special meals crazy good. Thanksgiving Dinner, BBQ steaks, Ribs, Bread, Camp Cooking Burnt chicken in the BBQ, what? Did I forget about that again? Fortunately the game I was watching at the time worth the cremated chicken.
