I'm a mom of 2 and have been married to my husband, Mike since 1997. I LOVE to cook and try new, easy recipes. I haven't really mastered "gourmet" cooking as, my time is limited in the kitchen. I enjoy getting my daughter to help me in the kitchen and like kids recipes (she's 4 1/2). I love cooking desserts the best! Then it would be mexican or italian second. I like easy, one dish meals and enjoy emblishing dishes. We have always had a tradition in my family of having Cheesecake (homemade) for breakfast on Thanksgiving and Christmas. We still do that! Can't think of any yet. I've been cooking since I was around 10 or 11. (My Mom was a single Mom and I would try to help out and have a meal started or made for her when she came home.) SHe wanted me to start cooking some game hens for her and wanted me to put a whole garlic clove in the cavity of the hen. Well, I was really new to cooking and didn't know what was a whole clove, so I put the entire BULB of garlic in, skin and all!! The hens turned out fine, but we have a good laugh about it now!
