Born in raised in south Florida, I am a single mother of two, 5 and 3 years old. Between raising my two babies and working full time I don't have as much time as I would like for my hobbies. In my spare time if I am not in the kitchen baking, I am on eBay! I have also been a vegetarian for 16 years. I enjoy baking mostly, but also enjoy cooking sometimes. My favorite things are new recipes. I also bake and decorate cakes for special occasions. My mom did not cook too much. Hot dogs and beans in the microwave were her specialty. So all my recipes are from friends or this site. I recently started decorating kids cakes and they have been turning out beautifully! When I first started baking, I was baking a recipe that required 6 eggs and one of my eggs had 3 yolks in it! I couldn't decide if I should count it as 1 or 3! A friend and I baked cookies one time and accidently used Bisquick instead of flour! Her mom had them in glass jars on the counter. We were about 14 years old. We ate them anyway! YUCK!
