good recipe, but honestly, not much too it. i didn't think the mint made it so different.

Coconut Custard Pie II

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2009
i don't like coconut custard pie, but my family does and i made this for them. they loved it. one guest was calling dibs on the remainder of the pie after his first bite, so it was way better than the store bought shoprite brand that my family usually has. thanks for a great recipe.

Super Moist Pumpkin Bread

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2009
excellent. went over so well for thanksgiving. i subbed applesauce for the oil and coconut milk. i omitted the coconut flakes and walnuts. next time i think i'll add raisins, it seemed like it was missing that taste. really good, really easy, fantastic base recipe. will use again and again.

The Best Meatloaf

Reviewed: Mar. 3, 2009
I used this recipe to make my first ever meatloaf. It was a total success. I didn't have steak sauce exactly, so I used some barbecue sauce with some Worcestershire sauce. My pan was a dual layer pan with small holes in the top pan to drain some of the fat from the meat. Awesome. I wonder what ground up tortilla chips would be in the mix instead of breadcrumbs???

Mushroom Pork Chops

Reviewed: Jan. 31, 2009
I followed this recipe exactly and it was awesome. My fiancee and I loved this dish, it was tender and the mushroom sauce along with plenty of sauteed mushrooms was fantastic. i served this with some green beans and some roasted red potatoes. This is going to be a mainstay in my cooking rotation.

Cranberry Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2009
my brother made these cookies for Christmas. WOW! they are soft, moist, tasty, sweet, but not too sweet. Just amazing. I couldn't stop eating them, and once they were finished, we've all begun egging him on to make them again. Really tasty! Oh, and replace the butter with applesauce, i'm sure my brother did, he's healthy.

Bran Muffins II

Reviewed: Jan. 19, 2009
These muffins are awesome. Used applesauce not shortening. Halved the salt. Whole wheat flour instead of white. Moist, full, but not heavy. So tasty!!! I've never made muffins before, but these came out so good, I'm going to be expanding my muffin making. Excellent, thanks for the recipe. Way better than some fatty version from DD.

Butternut Squash Soup with Sage

Reviewed: Dec. 26, 2008
Honestly, this came out terrible for me. I'm not sure if the 1 inch cubes should have been smaller. I'm not sure if the cayenne pepper that dominated the taste was necessary. I have no idea. Only 1 person at my dinner liked it, and that person was not me. I hope this recipe comes better for anyone reading this, but I followed the recipe and it was not good. I'm sorry, I love cooking and most recipes I read on AllRecipes are good, but this one did not come out good at all.

This is the greatest spinach artichoke dip ever!!! EVER!!! This is so awesome. I even got a fresh wedge of romano cheese to grate into the mix. I got jarred artichoke hearts, it was awesome. I made this as a holiday appetizer and it went over tremendously well. Thank you.

I liked this dish. I reduced the cooking time, I like my asparagus to have some snap. The balsamic butter glaze added a nice character to the veg. Thank you

Allie's Delicious Macaroni and Cheese

Reviewed: Dec. 6, 2008
i didn't follow the recipe exactly, only used cheddar and jack. used a pint of half and half and about half a cup more 2% milk. didn't use ham. added some shredded cheddar in with the macaroni before the sauce was added to hold together a bit. so good. my fiancee was very impressed and i will be definitely making this again. thank you for the recipe. oh, and a pound of macaroni is totally doable, there is plenty of cheese sauce.

Campbell's Skillet Chicken Parmesan

Reviewed: Nov. 9, 2008
fantastic one pan dish. gotta use whole chicken breasts, cutlets do not do this dish justice. i use half a jar of sauce with the chicken parm and the other half to complement half a box of pasta as a side dish. i really enjoyed this dish, great for a quick meal. oh, and you don't have to make 6 breasts, i made only 3 last night, cut the largest one in half across and it came out so good. some Cabernet accompanies nicely.

Whole Wheat Blueberry Pancakes

Reviewed: Apr. 15, 2007
i made these for breakfast one saturday morning for my mom and brother. the only part of the recipe that was a challenge was sifting the flour, it got stuck a few times. the outcome was well worth it. the pancakes were so tasty. i've never been much of a pancake fan, but the whole wheat is very tasty and the blueberries (i used double the recipe) made them so awesome. don't even need that much syrup. i highly recommend this recipe to everyone who wants something new for breakfast.

Baked Bar-be-que Chicken

so great. i thought you were joking when you said the meat was falling off the bones, but the chicken was just so tender. i just made it for my girlfriend and i, and we loved it, simple and excellent. i added some brown rice and some broccoli as sides dishes and a semi-sweet white wine, went great with the barbecue sauce.

excellent chili. the great smells in the kitchen made everyone hungry. i added a little extreme-hot-sauce and it was a total success. i served with some rolls and some thinly grated chedder. i'm going to make this on more than one football weekend this fall/winter.
