Garlic Sauteed Artichokes
About this Cook
Goals include: Maximum flavor + healthy eats on budget.
My favorite things to cook
Finding the bestest pizza crust recipe is like the quest for the holy grail. I am always in search of recipes enabling my garlic habit, too.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Any recipe handed down from my grandmother and mother. You know the kind; they fill you with pride and nostalgia all at the same time. All time best, never to be shared outside the family, hand-me-downs: Rosie's Cheeseballs, Polish Mistakes & Ammonia Cookies.
My cooking triumphs
Continuing the family tradition of "MacGyver Meals", improvising with anything left in the cupboards/refrigerator, and having people ask for the recipe. A priceless talent for thin-pocket times (THANKS MOM!).
My cooking tragedies
My first attempt at a curry dish. Every bit of it was horrible, from the nauseating color to the soggy vegetables. It is the only time my husband has asked, "So, should we order Chinese?"

Eggplant Parmesan II
Like others I found the recipe proportions a bit off, but adjusting for that, this was a delicious and easy meal. The recipe was scaled for 3- I actually used 2 eggs, and double the amount of breadcrumbs. Wish I would've had more sauce, too. Regardless, I will definitely make this, again. Thank you!

Garlic Sauteed Artichokes
Whoa~ This is fantastic!!! I took some suggestions from other reviewers and added fresh lemon juice at steaming and after. I also added a wee bit of onion to the garlic when sauteeing. This recipe is fab.
