Cooking for large groups of people is usually conducted outdoors by grilling, stir-frying and braising over open fires or baking underground, based on my Filipino and Hawaiian roots.

Preparing and cooking a 9 item menu for over 300 people outdoors and by myself.

Forgetting to plug in a commercial size rice cooker and having to send someone to several Chinese restaurants to buy steamed rice.
