I'm a Christian, and try to eat Biblically "clean" foods. I'm a stay-at-home-wife, and mother of two (so far). I enjoy reading, writing, scrapbooking, doctrinal/theology discussion, studying nutrition/natural health, blogging (blog.titus2homemaker.com) and puttering with my website (www.titus2homemaker.com).
My favorite things to cook
Bread. I also enjoy the challenge of cooking both healthy (whole foods) and quick-and-easy.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Every year my mother took cookie plates to the neighbors. The one "unusual" cookie on these plates was pizzelles. Also, definitely Thanksgiving - turkey, homemade stuffing, gravy, and PIE!
My cooking triumphs
The very first time I made a lemon meringue pie, it was successful. I was afraid I would curdle the eggs! Also, creating, from scratch, a frosting recipe with no refined sugar and no egg white.
My cooking tragedies
I roasted some garlic, ahead of time. When we were ready to eat it, I tried to dump it into a skillet to warm it, but I dropped the glass bowl it was in. The glass shattered in the pan, and we had to toss the garlic.
