About this Cook
I took up cooking as a hobby a few years ago, and found it to be a fun and rewarding pasttime. I cook at home, plus prepare things for my employees at work and my friends.
My favorite things to cook
Just about anything (except baking, that's my wife's gig). It's fun to try new and different things.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Not much, really. We were basically a meat and potatoes family.
My cooking triumphs
Anytime people appreciate my cooking.
My cooking tragedies
My tendency to burn stuff and have to toss it, though I've gotten much better.

Bacon Wrapped Smokies
Great concept!! I skip the brown sugra, though, and instead brush on some barbecue sauce. Also, if you're in a hurry, you can toss these under the broiler.

Uncle Bill's Sweet and Sour Sauce
Excellent sauce and easy to prepare. Used it on chicken tenders for a Christmas Party, and it was a hit. Thanks for sharing.

Pasta e Fagioli II
Excellent recipe. As I took this to a party, I added the pasta right in. You wouldn't want to let it sit too long, though, as the pasta would likely absorb the broth. The taste was superb, and I received many compliments. One Italian friend even commented that it was just like his grandmother used to make.
