Borscht with Meat
No need to precook the beets. Shred them and cook directly in the meat stock. Also, leave out the bacon to make it lower in fat. I aaded somne vegetable stock to make the stock richer in flavor.

Decadent Turtle Pie
Make sure the sweetened condensed milk is made with whole milk. The reicpe does NOT work with lowfat or nonfat.

Vietnamese Beef Pho
Didn't change a thing in the recipe - was a big hit and a nice flavor change from the norm, as well as, very simple to prepare.
