My cooking tragedies
First time making a quiche found here -I didn't use a deep shell pie crust. Egg ended up ALL over the bottom of the oven. YUCK

Slow-Cooker Posole
Ok, I will admit that despite all the positive reviews I was very skeptical. But...YUM YUM YUM!!! The only change I made was added chicken broth instead of water and I don't care for cabbage...so I served it over rice and added tortilla strips, avacado, and a touch of sour cream on top. Soooo easy and so good!

Beef Tips
Good base recipe, but way too salty. I floured the stew meat before browning, I used 2 cloves of fresh garlic instead of powder, low sodium beef broth instead of water, half of the low sodium soy sauce, and no water with the gravy packet (maybe that's why it was so salty?). The sauce was nice and thick. Next time I will add in fresh mushrooms, maybe 1/2 cup of red wine - and I will leave out the soy sauce altogether. I don't really care for the taste of it anyway.

Oven Scrambled Eggs
YAY! I can FINALLY make perfect scrambled eggs! I scaled the recipe down to 5 servings and loosly followed measurments. It cooked up perfect in 25 minutes @350. Will try Pam next time so eggs don't stick to sides. All I addd was cracked black pepper and a handful of shredded cheese after plated. YUM.
