Pie. Who doesn't love pie? I like baking cakes, too. With the advent of the electric mixer, I can have cake every day if I like. No one in my family could cook very well when I was younger, so by the time I reached pre-adolescence, I learned to cook for myself. (T'was the preferred option over eating fast food on a regular basis.) After ten years, I can finally say I've figured it out, and now I have a family of my own whom I enjoy cooking for, and with. Nothing spells fun like preparing food wih your best mates. Mayonnaise! I never liked mayonnaise that much until I ventured to make my own. Now it's right up there on my list of favourite condiments, next to balsamic vinegar. I can cook almost anything with a considerable amount of skill, but rice in a pot almost always turns out tragic. I think I just need a good non-stick pot.
