I love to look on allrecipes.com when I have a special occasion coming up, or when I want to try something new. I love to make cookies, and anything with cheese and/or garlic. You can never have enough of either one!! Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners were always facinating to me, and now I can say at the ripe old age of 30 I have successfully prepared both meals with no complaints. Making my very own cherry pie from scratch. I pitted the cherries and made the crust all by myself. I made a criss cross crust and I wish now, that I would have taken pictures. It looked and tasted Awesome!! Well, at the age of about 10, my friend and I tried to double a batch of chocolate chip cookies and put in 2 cups of baking powder instead of 2 teaspoons. What amazes me is why on earth my parents had such a big container of baking powder in the first place. When we couldn't even mix the batter we called for help. Dad read off the ingredients, and we realized what we had done. What a waste. At least we hadn't put the chocolate chips in yet!!
