Birthday cookies
About this Cook
At home, my mom often had to cook for a lot of people - we were 7 in total and we often had my dad's business people come home for lunch or dinner. So, I grew up with lots of different and exotic foods and it came natural for me to be comfortable in the kitchen and try things out.
My favorite things to cook
Cakes, cookies and sweets (especially marshmallows) and I love to "play around" with vegetables and herbs - it's amazing what you can do with them...
My favorite family cooking traditions
1. Christmas cookies for eating ourselves and for giving away to family and friends 2. Birthday breakfast: each kid can choose what they want and become the chef and boss in the kitchen for one morning (no matter whether its a week-day or weekend!)
My cooking triumphs
A three-tier wedding cake for a friends wedding - I had never thought that I could do that!!
My cooking tragedies
A risotto that even my husband refused to eat - and he never refuses anything. I still don't know for sure what went wrong, but it was BAD.

Bagels I
After making these there was no way back to storebought one - my family wouldn't eat them. They are fairly easy to make, a little work intensive but totally worth it.

Cinnamon Rolls III
If in the bread machine or the traditional way, these always turn out great. I had people asking me where I bought them!!! Definetly a favorite in my family.

Chocolate Frosting I
Quick, easy and yummy - what else can you ask for!?! My kids liked this frosting so much, they didn't want any cake with it. And it's fool-proof, no way to go wrong.
