Oatmeal Date Bars
I have been trying different recipes for date bars, and this is the one I will stick with. I did make some changes, though: I omitted the sugar from the dates(couldn't taste a difference), added about a cup of finely chopped walnuts to the flour/oat mixture, used 2 cups of old-fashioned oats and a whole egg instead of just the white. I was worried these would be dry, but they were actually the moistest of all the recipes I have tried, and by far the healthiest.
