About this Cook
I cook to relax. My partner is a diabetic, so I have learned to cook things for him. It is fun and sometimes he even helps, although He hates to cook. I am not a griller. I prefer my gourmet kitchen.
My favorite things to cook
I LOVE to cook quiche, tilapia, and carbonara. I am still looking for a good carbonara recipe.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Mentioned below.
My cooking triumphs
I made Christmas Eve dinner for my family. We had flank steak with chimichurri sauce, asparagus, and new potatoes with dill. It was awesome and has now became a family tradition. I found the recipe from the "Tony Danza show".
My cooking tragedies
When I first started cooking in the 80's, I thought blackened meant burnt. So I made blackened tuna, it was gross and we ended up going to Pizza Hut for dinner. That, thankfully, would never happen again.

I made this last year for new years and my friends are already asking if I will make it again for our party!
