About this Cook
I am 25 years old, and I love to bake bake bake!
My favorite things to cook
Stir-frys, Homemade pastas and sauces. Baklava. My newest favorite thing to do is canning! I have made a bazillion and a half different kinds of jams and jellies in the last two weeks. Yesterday, I made a Apple Butter...Oh my....it twas deliciouso!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Baklava every Christmas!
My cooking triumphs
Once again the Baklava that I was taught by a neighbor when I was about 11 years old. I still make it great every year. It was so hard at first, it took me hours to complete one batch. Now I bust them out really quick.
My cooking tragedies
Today I baked a cake in a bundt pan and didn't flour and grease it enough? The top half is still in the pan right now.

Creamy Divinity
I also used the BC frosting mix. It turned out excellent. I was scared after reading previous ratings about it not whipping to form a stiff peak. I used my Kitchen Aide mixer and it whipped up in about 5 minutes. This one is a keeper for my family...My mom loves divinity!!
