I find cooking incredibly relaxing and love to entertain guests. I'm a Midwesterner at heart and that is often reflected in my meals and my portion sizes. I'm a new mom with a beautiful daughter so I'm learning to juggle work, family and enjoying time with her and my husband. I enjoys putting together new meals for my family and guests. I'm easily bored with a meal so I'm constantly changing recipes and putting new twists on things. I grew up with large family meals and always feeding a crowd. I love a good hearty meal that allows me to mingle with our guests while still providing a delicious meal. If my husband likes it, it's a triumph! I never like to be "beaten" by a recipe and if something doesn't turn out right, I'll play with the recipe continuously to get it to work. My husband tells horror stories about my meatloaf project.
