Vegetarian Sweet and Sour Meatballs
I used the veggie-ball part of the recipe a few times, cooking them in Cream of Mushroom for a Swedish-Meatball type of recipe. Delicious. I tried it with the sweet and sour sauce for the first time yesterday and my husband and I LOVED it! We had orange marmelade on hand, so we used that instead of the apricot jam. We eliminated the salt because we had bought pre-made seasoned bread crumbs which already had a lot of salt in it. Delicious! We served it with plain egg noodles, which were good with the sauce as well. I think we'll make it next time we have friends over! YUM!
