Now that I've got a fiance' who loves my cooking, I'm learning more all the time. I'm a cookbook junkie, and recently have forced myself to get them from the library instead of buying them all. I love online sites such as this so I can import yummy recipes right into Living Cookbook.
My favorite things to cook
Things that sound fancy but are really pretty easy, such as Vienna Schnitzel, Veal Milanese, or stuffing phyllo dough.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My family always makes popcorn balls for Christmas, and it's a huge tradition. It's a whole day event.
My cooking triumphs
I showed some of my friends some recipes using Phyllo Dough, and at the next party we went to they had made some. I was thrilled that they liked them enough to bring along.
My cooking tragedies
About 5 years ago, I made an apple crisp, but didn't peel the apples. Recipe didn't specify, and I didn't think about it. Still tasted good, but everyone was like "aren't you supposed to peel the apples first?"
