Yummy, I used 2 packs of Italian dressing mix per other reviewers. Would make this again, easy and tasty.

Chicken Enchiladas V

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2007
Excellent recipe! The only changes I made were to use taco seasoning in place of the chili powder, and I also used a can of diced tomatoes with green chilis. Half for the sauce and half for the chicken mixture. Delicious and I will definitely be making these again!!!

Pork Chops 'n' Pierogies

Reviewed: Apr. 9, 2007
I didn't like the pork chops, they weren't tender enough for me with this cooking method. But the pierogies were delicious. I will definitely use this method to make them again:)

Tangy Slow Cooker Pork Roast

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2007
Excellent! I am always leery of buying a pork roast because I have never made one that I actually enjoyed enough to make again, until now. I used a 4lb. bone in roast and tripled the sauce ingredients. I left out the hot sauce and I had no onions. I will definitely make his again and I will be sure to add onions because I know they would be awesome. Try this recipe!

Baked Potato Salad I

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2007
Excellent, but you really can't go wrong with these ingredients. I used sour cream in place of the mayo and I had no green onions. I will definitely buy them for the next time I make this, which will be soon I'm sure! Yummy!!!

Grilled Salmon I

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2007
I let this marinate for about 6 hours, I don't think it was enough. I will make this again but I will let it marinate overnight to really absorb more flavor. Still a nice easy way to prepare salmon.

Quick Cheeseburger Pie

Great recipe that you can tweak to whatever your family enjoys. I forgot the garlic and used less pickle juice because I was worried it would be too strong. I used a store bought pie crust and added bacon, yummy!

Italian Grilled Cheese Sandwiches

Nice change from regular grilled cheese. I used italian seasoning in place of the oregano. I also added tomatoes just because I like them on my grilled cheese. Will definitely make this again.

Slow Cooker Chicken Stroganoff

Reviewed: Mar. 14, 2007
I used thighs and had no margarine so I skipped that. I used 3oz. cream cheese and 8 oz. sour cream. Very creamy and the chicken was very tender. I think next time I am going to add some onions and mushrooms to the mix, that will make it even better!

Banana Bread I

Reviewed: Mar. 10, 2007
This is a very tasty banana bread. Instead of 1 cup of sugar I used 1/2 cup of Splenda for Baking and that worked wonderfully. I also added a little vanilla and cinnamon like other reviewers. I made these in my mini bundt cake pan and got 8 mini bundt cakes from this recipe. Can't wait to make again and experiment with different additions!

Crowned Beef Bake

This was just OK. I thought the meat needed seasoning, which I added and it still seemed a little bland. This is great comfort food for a cold winter night though.

Zesty Slow Cooker Chicken Barbecue

Reviewed: Mar. 9, 2007
This was pretty tasty and definitely easy. I started with frozen breasts and cooked them on low for 6 hours. Then I pulled them out, shredded them and put them back in for an hour to soak up some sauce. I served these on rolls which I liked, and I think next time I may serve them on a roll with coleslaw on top because this seems like it would make a good match.

This was an easy weeknight dinner. I also added a can of french cut green beans like previous reviewers. Next time I would double the meat though.

Italian Style Beef Sandwiches

Reviewed: Mar. 7, 2006
I was not very impressed with this recipe. Granted I didn't use the peppers because I was out but still wasn't that great. I guess the peppers are relied on for most of the flavor because this didn't have much without them. About an hour before serving I ended up adding a jar of au ju gravy to help the flavor. Might make again with the peppers.

These were very tasty. Since I buy all types of chicken when it's on sale, I had thin cut chicken breasts. Very simple and good. Will make again.

Hamburger Steak with Onions and Gravy

Reviewed: Mar. 2, 2006
Very good but very greasy. I followed the recipe exactly except I didn't have sherry so I used more stock. I think next time to cut down on the grease I will cook the patties almost all the way, drain some of the grease then add the onions and go from there. The meat was nicely flavored and I really liked this dish except for the grease. Will make again.

Best Big, Fat, Chewy Chocolate Chip Cookie

These were ok but not as good as I expected. I had to use splenda for baking instead of white sugar because that's what I had. I'll keep looking for the perfect cookie though.

Mushroom Pie

Oh my gosh this was awesome. I didn't use the dill and I had to use sour cream because I was out of heavy cream. Also, I baked in a pie shell because that's what I had. Will definately be making this again and again.
