Allison's Pasta Salad
This was a really good pasta salad! As suggested, I doubled the dressing ingredients except for the dill (only because we're not dill fans). I made a little extra pasta so we'd have leftovers and reserved 1/2 of the dressing to pour over the pasta salad the next day to suit each person's taste. Since I didn't have ham, grapes or green onions, I used what we had on hand: 1 can red kidney beans, 1 small can sliced black olives and some chopped hard boiled eggs. I also added some chopped green pepper but hubby said it didn't fit with the dressing so I won't do that again. The dressing is really what this recipe is about. You can play around with the ingredients for the salad but the dressing is great as is. I'll be making this again.

Cabbage Jambalaya
This was SO GOOD!!! I gave it 4 stars because I did modify it but it's definitely going to be made again. Hubby LOVED it and asked that I keep the recipe and make it again. My modifications/additions: 3 cloves garlic, added 1 can Rotel tomatoes to the recipe, 1 can El Pato spicy tomato sauce (use 1/2 can for less spicy or regular tomato sauce instead), instead of water I used 1 can beef broth plus 1 cup of beef broth (cuz rice soaked broth up before it was done cooking so had to add more), 1/2 tsp. garlic salt, 1/4 tsp. Old Bay seasoning, pinch of red pepper flakes, dash of worcestershire sauce, and a dash of salt. Loved by all in the family and that right there is worth the effort!

Omelet in a Mug
We're in the middle of remodeling our kitchen. I currently don't have a stove to cook on so I looked for some microwave recipes. Found this one and WOW! The egss came out PERFECTLY FLUFFY! My kids and hubby loved them and the kids were excited that they can now make eggs on their own. I did add a little bit of milk (per reviewer recommendations) and some Hormel Real Crumbled Bacon (I didn't have ham or pepper and don't have a stove too cook bacon on). This was a quick and perfect breakfast out of the micro. Good flavor too. I use medium cheddar which adds more flavor than mild cheese and the flavor of the real bacon bits came thru beautifully. We were all very pleased and pleasantly surprised with this one.
